Application Case of 4G Cellular Modem in Automatic Noise Monitoring

 

Noise pollution is a kind of energy pollution with instantaneous and discontinuous spatial distribution. Only by adopting multi-point sampling method and increasing monitoring frequency as much as possible can the average noise pollution level of an area be truly reflected. At present, most cities in China use the manual monitoring method of monitoring several frequency,but it costs enormous , and the data is not real-time and accurate.

 

In order to detect the noise pollution steady, USRIOT developed an automatic noise monitoring scheme which based on wireless data transmission, use wireless transmission equipment USR-G781 to monitor the regional noise in real-time, and then analysis, processing, packaging, upload the data to the monitoring center into historical database and real-time database for display and storage, and processing.

The system has been widely used in monitoring station projects. Since the system does not require personnel on duty and operates 24 hours continuously, it has solved the problems of time-consuming, laborious of noise monitoring, and provided a timely, reliable and effective basis for law enforcement, evaluation and treatment of environmental noise.
