Street Lamp Distance Intelligent Monitoring System

Abstract

As the advancement of smart city construction, energy consuming and environmental friendly solar street lamps have come to take the place of traditional ones. Solar energy street lamps take the use of expensive solar battery panel, energy saving bulb and power distribution box. As such, it is inevitable to maintain, monitor and manage these facilities. USRIOT has produced a perfect resolution to monitor street lamps in real time targeted at the pain points of disperse location and poor real-time instantaneity. The whole system makes the use of industrial GSM modem to collect, transmit and handle, which lowers the cost of management and doesn’t need special personnel on duty.

 

System design

Street lamp monitoring center has integrated the function of data management and monitoring, so it can manage street lamp network in section and locate single street lamp rapidly;

User-defined control strategy can control the street lamps to be on, off or in alternation in different time period;

It uses Internet technology and GPRS wireless network to fulfill distance control;

It can detect the fault of street lamp and reports the location.

When the server is off, system can control the on-off of street lamps automatically according to designated time.

 

Major functions of system

 1.Auto classification and manual control in distance. System can divide all monitored terminals into different groups in the light of different requirements of different types.

 2.Auto detection, manual detection and alternative detection. Manipulation end can set the time circle to detect regularly. Operators can also make manual detection and alternative detection to the power pressure, electric current, useful power, useless power, power factors, electric quantity, on-off and other input data of the terminal ends anytime.

 3.Abnormal data alarm. When terminal end of monitoring alarms or the manipulation end finds abnormal data when detecting (such as electric current exceeds the upper or bottom limitation, lightening on in the night and off in the day, lamps run with prepared power when the supply line is failure or there is fault in a branch), the micro-computer will make vocal alarm, record the data automatically, show the corresponding location or fault type on the map, show the location on e-map or large screen and send the information to relevant personnel.

 4.Alarming function of monitoring terminal end. When the terminal devices, line or pressure converters have been stolen, system will make vocal alarm, record the data automatically, show the corresponding location or fault type on the map, show the location on e-map or large screen and send the information to relevant personnel.

 5.Distance check in real time. It can access through internet in distance to check all terminal data and the situation of the fault.

 

USR-GPRS232-730
