I have connected the USR device to a router now via cable (to ensure it wasnt a wifi problem).
It is now part of the local network 10.1.1.99 port 8899 and can be accessed from any device on the network via http
I have connected the modbus meter to the unit as per the instructions.
In mode I have set to AP and modbus tcp <=> modbus rtu
I have the uart setting at 9600,8,none,1 (flow control DISABLED, 485 mode ENABLED, Baudrate adaptive ??? ENABLED)
The meter needs 9600,8,1.
I have attempted to use node-red to connect to the port 8899 on the IP of the device but it cannot do it for some reason.
I'm not sure why a simple "TCP CONNECT" flow in node-red cannot make a connection to the IP and port?
